Åmåls Stadshotell is beautifully located next to the river Åmål between the historic wooden town and the modern centre of Åmål. There is a bustling marina just below the hotel, and Åmål also has a good selection of shops and cafés. The annual music festival Åmål’s Blues Fest has become a tradition that attracts thousands of visitors and artists from all over the world.

Stay in one of the 29 pleasant, individually decorated rooms – from single rooms to more spacious superior rooms. All of them have TV, shower, toilet and desk. There are also guest rooms for the disabled, a lift and free WiFi.

Since 1904, Åmål residents and hotel guests have enjoyed well-prepared food and classic home cooking at "Stadt". Breakfast buffet, lunch and light evening meals are served every day in the dining room and up-to-date information about the popular Bakfickans Bar & Restaurant can be found on Instagram and Facebook. The outdoor terrace has enough space for about 100 people.

Celebrations and events in the historic banquet hall

The hotel has a century-old banquet hall with grand chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling, making it a perfect venue for weddings, family reunions and business events. The beautiful hall can cater for 110 dinner guests and another 75 guests in the adjacent roof terrace with a sky-bar. Should your party be even larger, there are three large dining rooms in a row that provide enough space for 200 people.

Meetings and conferences

The three conference rooms at Stadshotellet are each equipped with a projector, white board, flip-chart and notebooks/pens. The largest room can accommodate 130 participants and you can choose between a ready-made package or tailor your own arrangement. One option is a day package with refreshments, a conference lunch and coffee and cakes later. You can also choose your own arrangement with a day package or conference with overnight stay. The meeting itself can be arranged to suit your preferences.
