Krukmakeri Hemjord is located in central Kristinehamn and brings together a pottery studio, shop and café under one roof. It is a personal place where craft, coffee and handmade ceramics are at the centre.

The pottery studio is run by Annbritt Schmützer, a master potter and Nordic throwing champion, together with Björn Andersson.

The shop offers Annbritt’s own ceramics, including cups, bowls, teapots, lanterns and interior pieces. Many items are thrown and made on site, making the shop a place to visit both for those who want to buy handmade ceramics and for visitors curious about the craft process.

One recurring motif with a local connection is the Kristinehamn silhouette, where buildings and surroundings from the town are used in the ceramics.

The café serves coffee, tea, ice cream, chocolate, liquorice and homemade pastries. Part of the experience is that the café items are served on and in ceramics from the studio.
