The Excecution Spot in Borgvik

A gruesome but interesting part of Borgviks history.

Here, along the old countryroad, was where criminals met there fate during the 18th and 19th century at the excecution spot in Borgvik. One memorable case that is a large part of the history of Borgvik is the case of Britta Jonsdotter. The execution of Britta was the first excecution that happened here but was definitley not the last.
