Sjötorp's guest harbor

Sommar idyll where lake Vänern meets Göta Canal

The guest harbor is located in Sjötorp at the mouth of the Göta Canal in Vänern. Sjötorp is a popular summer destination with many locks, eateries, handicrafts, canal museum, bicycle rental, fish stall and more.

From here starts the cycling and hiking trail along the Göta Canal and also a lovely hiking trail towards the Harnäs lighthouse area and Surö beech forest. If you don't want to visit the canal with your own boat, you can join the passenger boat M/S Bellevue on a day trip between Sjötorp and Töreboda.
